As an individual, we create a new state of awareness in which the self is nourished through the experience of self-development. As a nation, we should continue to be an aspiring country to unite the best, amplify human potentiality, and accelerate human progress.

It’s time to celebrate the holiday, taking time to reflect, rejuvenate creative energy, and practice independent thinking. Learn to think beyond a single dimension, shape a free mind, look beyond the surface, love more than black & white, bring different perspective to look at the surroundings, and enjoy the world of differences.

Advocate equal opportunity and true meritocracy: The digital workforce today is multi-generational and multicultural, each generation has its own unique experience, learning & working principles and practices, bringing different worldviews, learning differently through different media and methodologies. To reflect the spirit of “Independence Day,” insightful leaders should advocate equal opportunities, encourage people to be self-made high performers, and build a culture of innovation. Forethoughtful companies inspire creativity, self-management, self-actualization, encourage autonomy and inspire true meritocracy.

In such a hyperconnected and interdependent world with global climate, those businesses that are unwilling to genuinely embrace diversity, encourage equal opportunity, are unable to know how to tap their diverse resources, become inclusive, recognize merit and ideas, no matter where they come from, will not be able to survive, leave alone thrive in the long run. Contemporary citizens who can understand the value of harnessing the differences, leverage tools and experience to effectively communicate and build trust across diverse cultures, are usually essential and the key to shape effective global organizations.

Inspire authenticity & independence: The spirit of Independence Day means as a society, we value independence and self-reliance, with the right to pursue freedom and happiness. We appreciate independent thinking, uniqueness and experimentation. Knowing who you are or being self-aware, allows you to discover your strength, and become a better and creative human being. The appreciation of authenticity helps people build confidence, practice independent thinking, infuse passion, inspire creativity, develop unique strength, make people willing to progress and then, take the steps necessary to tap their creativity, enforce their strengths and unlock potential continuously.

In the world of dynamic changes, there is always one clear issue: the issue of self and the brightness of innovation with the paradigm shift from self-awareness, self-control to self-driven. Individually, in order to tap your potential and create a unique image, investigate your passion, discover your talent. Strength needs to be built via continuous practices, and competencies are interrelated with characters, traits and professional expertise. Establish yourselves as having a very strong reputation in a particular topic area to build a strong professional brand.

Harness resilience & morality:
We’ve been living in a much more peaceful time today, however, the mature nation should not lose its enthusiasm to challenge the silo mentality, conventional wisdom, common beliefs, and boost morality. People are different, cultures are different, religions are different. Human moral constructs determine right and wrong, though there are gray areas between right and wrong in certain domains, as it is an individual phenomenon. People always look at the world the way they want it to be, so anything that is not matching their criteria, they consider it as wrong, and what’s matching their standard seems right to them. It’s hard to develop the right way within an environment that rewards wrong ways. Regardless of our differences, it’s critical to bridge gaps, clarify values we all agree with. Set a moral compass to help human beings find the common ground, co-solve the problems that benefit all of us.

Freedom is freedom from compulsion or necessity, we need an objective understanding of progress. Failure is part of success. Resilience is about bouncing, turning around tough situations, dealing with challenges courageously.. It’s about regaining one’s footing which could be bouncing back, forwards or restructuring your life, integrating the change in some way that works. The whole edifice of human civilization needs to be reworked in accelerating progression perceived by forward-looking leaders and insightful professionals. Boost morality, harness resilience and sustain the progressive change we make to build an advanced society.

As an individual, we create a new state of awareness in which the self is nourished through the experience of self-development. Practice independent thinking for breaking down conventional wisdom, de-learn and relearn to update knowledge, respect our differences, harmonize the way moving to the upground through empathy, for making collective progress. As a nation, we should continue to be an aspiring country to unite the best, amplify human potentiality, and accelerate human progress.
